Description:.

A circuit breaker is an automatically operated electrical switch designed to protect an electrical circuit from damage caused by Overcurrent/overload or short circuit. Its basic function is to interrupt current flow after Protective relays detect faults condition. Unlike a fuse, which operates once and then must be replaced, a circuit breaker can be reset (either manually or automatically) to resume normal operation.

Air circuit breaker(ACB):Air circuit breaker current level is generally larger,from 630A to 6300A,

The appearance of air circuit breaker is bigger than MCCB & MCB,it Can be equipped with more attachment,manual operation or Equipped with electric operation.fixed installation or drawout installation.Most of its performance is better than MCCB(Molded Case Circuit-Breaker) and MCB(Miniature Circuit-Breaker).

 

MCCB(Molded Case Circuit-Breaker)current level is generally from dozens of amps to 1600,most of MCCB are used in 63 amps.The appearance of MCCB is smaller usually.manual operation or Equipped with electric operation.most of its performance close to ACB.

 

MCB(Miniature Circuit-Breaker)current level is generally under 63 amps. The shape of MCB is minimum.It can be equipped with some basic accessories. As auxiliary contact, fault-indicating contact, Shunt trip or under voltage tripper.MCB can only manual install and fixture.Most of its performance is lower than ACB & MCCB.It is generally used on the end of the line of small electric equipment.
