UPGM203 Halogen-free material as the filler meet UL94-V0 requirement
What is the UPGM203 material ?
UPGM203 material is composited by unsaturated polyester , glass fiber mat and aluminium hydroxide material . As soon as we known , if the material need to meet UL94-V0 , it need fire retardant material , so many UPGM203 manufacturers use filler content bromine as the fire retardant , but bromine is the halogen material . Halogen will impair person’s heath , so it is very important to keep the product is green .
In other way , aluminium hydroxide material as the filler material in UPGM203 will decrease the water absorption rate .So many UPGM203 manufacturers use for calcium carbonate as filler material due to it is cheaper than aluminium hydroxide material . However , calcium carbonate as filler will caused rising up of water absorption rate , it caused insulation performance rise down .
What properties does this material have ?

3. It is the green product , no Halogen in this material .
4. It is easy process by CNC machines , it can be machine into complex parts .

May I know the application of tUPFM203 material ?
UPGM203 is also called GPO-3 , it was widely used in every fields , such as environmental protection, photovoltaic power generation, wind energy, rail transportation, power transmission and distribution, motor etc.
It has been used as insulating structural parts for products of above industries , such as :
in low & middle voltage electrical equipments as insulating structures such as circuit breaker, switchgear, transformer, DC motor, AC contactor , converter , inverter & explosion proof apparatus etc. ; automotive industry field etc. In electrical Apparatus: making of phase & end barriers, contact terminal supports, terminal plate, insulating supports, bus bar supports and mounting panels in switchgear; arcchute plate, arc extinguishing cover & cylinder in circuit breaker and signal panels in other types of electrical apparatus; and electric melting furnace insulations. In electrical motor: making of armature parts, cover plate , slot wedge, stator, gasket , shims , carbon brush etc.
